DO YOU GET BORED DURING THE LONG COLD WINTERS?
TRY CURLING!

When the days get shorter, nights are cooler, curlers begin to think and talk about curling and then become active participants. For many Canadians, this is the only way to pass the long cold winters and have fun at the same time. To 1.3 million across Canada, the recreational sport of curling plays a very important part in their social life. With more than 1200 curling clubs across the country, the local curling club becomes a focal point for many communities during the winter months.

The Oakville Curling Club, located in downtown Oakville, is one of those. With one of most modern curling facilities in Canada as well as a smoke free environment, the Oakville Curling Club is the largest in Ontario with more than 860 curlers enjoying the sport/recreation of curling at all skill levels from the age of seven to almost ninety years young. The club has an excellent program for people of all ages.

Curling is one of the most affordable sport/recreation activities in Canada. Individuals living in the Greater Oakville area should try it! You might like it! It is definitely the only fun and sociable way to spend a Canadian winter. For more information on our curling programs, clinics and bonspiels, check out the rest of our web site.
